Guilford Day Care, a non-profit day care center, was started in 1971 in order to offer early care and education to some of Guilford’s youngest citizens.

We are a professionally-staffed facility serving preschool children ages 3 through 5. We provide quality opportunities for the social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth of each child in a warm and nurturing atmosphere.

Our curriculum include language development, motor activities, creative arts, science, cooking, music, multicultural awareness, and time for free play. The staff at Guilford Day Care helps children develop conflict resolution skills and the appropriate expression of feelings and frustrations.

We strive for economic diversity, and offer a sliding scale to support that goal.

Guilford Day Care has been accredited by NAEYC since 1995.
